Come join our team! **Job Summary:** In this role, you will provide spiritual care to patients, families, and staff. Essential Duties Include: Delivering direct spiritual care that is appropriate for the recipient’s spirituality, culture, religious preference and health status; Working closely with care managers, interdisciplinary care teams, social workers, nursing and medical staff to provide spiritual care insights; Completing required documentation; Providing direct spiritual consultation and spiritual and emotional support for staff experiencing work-related or personal stress, including being available for private conversations while respecting work schedules and locating private space for counseling; Collaborating with Clinical Pastoral Education students, volunteers, and local clergy to extend spiritual care services; Providing education and ethical consultation for patients, family, staff and volunteers; and Adhering to and exhibiting CHI Franciscan Health’s Core Values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence. As a Chaplain, you will most likely be assigned to service with specific service lines, however, may be temporarily assigned or reassigned at management's discretion. **Qualifications** **Education/Work Experience:** + Incumbents must meet the educational requirements of the National Accreditation of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), or National Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC) that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge, skills and abilities. (Note: Each certifying body requires a unique Master’s degree; please refer to the specific association for most current requirements). **Licensure/Certification:** + Currently certified as a Chaplain (by NACC, APC, APCE, NAJC, or equivalent certification). + Ecclesiastical endorsement is required. **Job** Spiritual Care **Primary Location** WASHINGTON-UNIVERSITY PLACE-SJMC HOSPICE & LTC PHARMACY **Daily Schedule** 9am to 5:30pm **Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period** 80 **Weekends Required** Every Other **Req ID:** 2017-R0122777
