Come join our team! **Job Summary:** As a Pharmacy Tech, you'll work under the supervision of a Pharmacist and you'll perform a variety of duties to support the daily workflow of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include: + Distributing medications in compliance with state and federal laws and internal policies and procedures + Preparing and dispensing prescribed medications for patients + Compounding of medications + Assisting in managing inventory + Charging and crediting functions for medications associated with drug distribution processes + Maintaining a clean and safe environment by using aseptic technique, careful handling of controlled substances, completing continuing education assignments + Participating in department quality assurance programs + Administrative and clerical duties + Consistently demonstrating our Core Values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence. **Qualifications** **Education/Work Experience Requirements:** + Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program + One year of hospital work experience or hospital rotation within an accredited training program is preferred **Licensure/Certification:** + License as a Pharmacy Technician by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy. + Washington State Driver’s license required only for those staff with an “off site refill” assignment + Current healthcare provider BLS Certification **Job** Pharmacy **Primary Location** WASHINGTON-BREMERTON-HARRISON MEDICAL CENTER **Daily Schedule** Varies **Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period** 80 **Weekends Required** Occasional **Req ID:** 2017-R0127643
