Job Description:   **Distribution Tech Full time Days** **Description** **JOB SUMMARY** Procures and stocks basic patient care supplies/equipment and inspects work unit equipment in accordance with work unit safety, risk management and standard precaution standards and in compliance with established regulatory standards. Work also includes participating in evaluations of new supplies/equipment, filling out/tracking maintenance/repair work orders and keeping abreast of the availability of current/new supplies and equipment relevant to the work unit. The incumbent also maintains related documentation in accordance with established procedures. Work requires resourcefulness in meeting the needs of clinical staff in a timely manner. Tracks and monitors the supplies/equipment (e.g. gloves, gowns, masks, protective eyewear, etc.) inventory to ensure items are stocked and readily available for clinical use. Makes daily rounds to ensure that equipment is clean, functioning properly and at the appropriate location, reports malfunctions and works closely with Bio-Med to ensure that equipment is maintained in good working condition and returned to the unit in a timely manner. **Qualifications** **Education/Work Experience Requirements** Six months of recent related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities. **Job** Patient Care Support **Primary Location** WASHINGTON-TACOMA-FRANCISCAN HEALTH SYSTEM **Daily Schedule** 7a-330p **Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period** 80 **Weekends Required** Occasional **Req ID:** 2017-R0128731
